The historic building which houses Taipas Apartments backs onto ancient Fernandina’s Wall and is located in the centre of Porto. The 5 apartments are elegantly decorated in shades of white with 19th-century furniture.
Each air-conditioned apartment comes with a fully-equipped kitchen containing a refrigerator and microwave. A flat-screen TV and a modern, private bathroom are also present. The apartments are accessed by stairs.
Apartments Taipas are within 200 m of Portuguese restaurants and bars. In the immediate surroundings there are also mini markets for groceries.
Set 500 m from the Douro River, the apartments are within walking distance of many landmarks in the city. The Sao Bento Metro Station is 650 m away and the University of Porto is 200 m away.

We don’t have elevator in the building. The apartment “Standard One-bedroom Apartment” is at the ground floor. It has easy access. Others are accessed by stairs. Thank you.

Do you provide late check in facilities. i.e. 10pm

Guests can make self check-in any time as long as the apartment is prepared.

Would it be possible to check out at 4pm due to flight time

Hello, Thank you for contacting. The latest check out time is 12:00, so that we have time to prepare rooms for the coming guests. You can find self service locker in metro station Trindade, Aliados or São Bento. Thank you.

Is there apartments with balcony / terrace please for 16-19 September

Hello, Thank you for asking. Some apartments have balcony but very tiny. There is no space to stand there. And we are fully booked during 16th-19th.

It’s on the second floor, which means two apartments below it.

The nearest monitored parking is only five minutes by walking. It’s 20 EUR per 24 hours. If you don’t mind to park further there is another one much cheaper. 20 EUR for 3 days. It takes around 15 minutes by walking.

Great location for exploring Porto. Good bars & restaurants near to the apartment. Owner was extremely helpful & responsive to requests for help. Apartment clean & well equipped.

Great location with an attentive staff.
The location was excellent, felt close enough to everything without being too noisy. The rooms were nice and we had a lovely view. Communication with staff was easy and attentive.
The sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable. We requested more but it would’ve been nice to have more toilet paper and towels on hand
